We do not want cost to be a barrier for any family to participate.
We are raising more funds so we can provide scholarships as needed.
Families are asked to donate to the cause as resources permit.
Families can also volunteer to help other families and help to build their village.
It costs the Movement approximately $1,000 per student per year they actively train. Our cash costs vary based upon the level of volunteer support in each village. The cost per student will vary each year thereafter based upon the level of ongoing participation in the various programs offered by each village.
Most students can complete a basic level of training within one year which is sufficient to achieve reading proficiency.
Many students will need to train a second year to build a strong base of cognitive skills.
All students can benefit from cognitive skill training but some students will benefit more than others based upon their foundational skill level.
If a student receives a scholarship to access the training but does not train consistently, their scholarship will be cancelled and awarded to another student.
