Build a Chapter or Village

Build a Chapter or Village

Each participating community will have a chapter organized and managed locally to oversee the Movement activities in that community. This includes building and managing villages for each neighborhood area. For larger cities, multiple chapters may be needed.

We organize villages within each chapter loosely based upon public elementary school boundaries. Each community is already geographically divided with boundaries to define which students should go to which schools.

Villages can also be organized by special groups or based upon an existing organization and the area they serve in that community.

Role of a chapter

Recruit a chapter leader

Recruit, train, and manage an advisory council

Build and manage villages

Work with families directly until villages can be established

Raise funds to support the work of the Movement in each community

Role of a village

Recruit a village leader

Build a parent council

Build a student council

Recruit, train, and manage Family Ambassadors to work with families

Recruit families

Set up events

Manage student trainings

A community can start with one Family Ambassador who works with a small number of students and grow from there. Build a village, build another village, build a chapter.
