Ground zero is Akron, Ohio.
Akron is the national headquarters for Success4rkids, the 501c3 nonprofit overseeing the Black Youth Success Movement.
We are working to build several Villages in Akron to demonstrate the model.
Our core team is based in Akron.
The genesis of the Black Youth Success Movement concept was birthed in Colorado Springs in collaboration with Nicholas Crutcher, CEO and founder of Crutcher Cornerstone Community Development Corporation. www.cornerstonemovement.org, Facebook
Once we have the resources, we will launch a chapter in Colorado Springs with Nicholas.
Nicholas has been serving youth for over 25 years with various programs including an amazing youth development summer camp.
He has programs in Las Vegas, Nevada and Peoria, Illinois and strong connection in many other communities.
Once resources are available, we will launch chapters in each of those communities.
Then we are off to the moon.
